IFSC Code Checker

Paste any IFSC code to confirm it is real and see which payment systems the branch supports — before you send money.

Blue = bank · Yellow = always 0 · Green = branch

Why check an IFSC before a transfer?

A wrong IFSC can send a NEFT or RTGS transfer to the wrong branch or make it bounce. Merged banks (like Vijaya, Dena, Syndicate, Oriental Bank of Commerce) have retired many old codes. This checker confirms the code is still live in the RBI list and shows which payment rails are enabled.

An IFSC has 11 characters: the first 4 letters are the bank, the 5th is always zero, and the last 6 identify the branch.
